It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=
I'll try to fix up the ugly pictures and maybe add some color when I have time, and reupload another version later :b (don't know when though.) For now feel free to watch this one and laugh at it huhuhu

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Yeahs!

NYCC is starting this friday and it's gonna get so crazy with all people coming and will be a whole different experience - i deeply feel it up my dark alley...AWESOME!

I will update this journal in case i know that we have the Mekano Turbo book available for you. Our luxury printer is kind of "slow" in order to be able to tell us but i can only guess that the last bindings will be done tomorrow. Would be super fantastic if it would be in our hands and later in yours!

ONE THING - Matt Deans and Frans Boukas and their buddy Steve
are in need of a dorm. So if you got a closet free or a at least a spare roof they can hide under give them or me a call

they will have sweet poster screenprints with them and maybe they can clean your house naked with their bare exposed naked bodies...they are that nice!
