Another 'War on Prehis' piece! This time with Pablo on the pages and me doing the cover - this little 12 page mini comic will come with the purchase of the to be released today MULTIDRONE! Get yours here - - -
goodlegtoys.storenvy.com/colle…

Tried a bit to ape a bit Boris Vallejo - all digital - working all greyscale first and then coloring the thing. Is quite fun! Though i wish i had done it analogue with an airbrush - and i know i got one :ashamed:

there are the drones who are like the main cast, and then the dino dudes. there's also an alien race of Space Monkeys. but i think there's no main protagonist that will survive through the whole series.

Yeah Vallejo, I definitely see it, also a bit Richard Corben circa 1972, it looks great.  And thanks for the kind comment Ralph, much appreciated in this day and age.

I have one I'm working on right now with She-hulk wrestling her arch-nemesis the villainous stripper/bank robber Titania (I kind of have a Shulkie obsession I must admit).

Also thanks for being a nice and friendly human being, it's VERY much appreciated.  I'll enable comments ONE DAY when I look at my stuff and don't think it looks like utter shit...as it currently does (to me at least).

dude, sounds like you just have to go out and meet some friends.
i was down too and even if you don't believe it, i was thinking of my shit
like it's actually shit. stinky one. also realised even in my friends' circle
there were just rumours of what i'm actually doing and that alot are
thinking it's some great stuff. 'naahh....but okay, i gonna do some more - -
for 'you' and 'you' and 'you'.' I would love holding something official and
printed in my very hands from you - i dig your style aloooot.

Also had my Hulk crush a few years ago! Hulk/She-Hulk is like the only comic comic
out there. Only a very few besides those. Scioli's Transformers/GI Joe is very very good.
Anyhow, the Stripper Titania is a great character and i love the fact that she used
Hulk's seed to create the red haired She Hulk...damn forgot the name but you can
find a picture of her in my gallery.

See that's the difference.  All your friends are artsy art people who make art and draw and have talent and imagination and vision and shit.  And you're constantly surrounded by that creativity and energy and that mindset.

I on the other hand, have never in my entire life on this planet, that we call earth, ever met another human being in real life who can even sort of draw.  Never ever ever.  None of my friends can draw and they have absolutely zero interest in any form of art or the creation there of.

"Creatives" are an anomaly where I live.  Also, I'm not down, I'm just a realist. :D (Big Grin)

I dunno why non artistic people are not inspirational - all people have some
character. i know i'm quite spoiled and you're right - i'm pretty much knowing
mostly people doing art. But also the work of my parents is also a piece
of art. Also my travels into the world of corporate environments has offered
me also a lot of inspiration. All the children the good looking office girls are
having now should be all mine! Buuut, oh well...

And then there's conventions, state shows and all kinds of events where
you can get to know people. A trip to the comic shop may also be an opportunity
to get to know some peops who do a sort of creative thing. May it be writing,
drawing, or making DIY jewelry or shit - musicians have also sometimes other hobbies
besides making tunes (you can even draw covers for them - i would buy one, even if the music
is bad! Gimme those drawings of yours on paper!!). Sometimes friends hide their creativity
for years and fiddle all solo for themselves. BUT also with you posting
stuff here it's not that you fiddle all solo since me, we, whoever can look at your works.
You're not alone, bud!

As an experienced realist, i can say that you can find other creatives, just have to look for them.
Man, i dig the two new drawings!! That cheerleader is amaze pants! And it's nothing 'realist' point of
view to write the exact negative in the comment below them, saying that it doesn't look finished,
when it looks finished and professional as heck. You got it all going, and stuff looks slick!
The cel shade is a work of beauty!
Sorry for defending your work once again, but i think it's great

Too cool! That sounds like a wise method, doing it in grayscale first, and throwing the colors later. The head of the guy, on the bottom-right, reminded me of Madballs, which I haven't thought about in years :D 2.bp.blogspot.com/-enRue20F4xQ…

funnily in 2 days in a row i spoke to a guy who won as a kid a drawing contest for Madballs and was visiting the factory and is now the main design man on GI JOE toys, and the day after the designer of Madballs shook my hand and i gave him my very last Mekano Turbo book... uhm yes, greyscale first is pretty cool.

Small world. :D I don't recall the Madballs toys being sold over here back when they came out, but I thought they were pretty cool. I still have an sticker album of Madballs here somewhere, from either the late 80s or early 90s, even though it lacks the cover...
